Our Environmental Story

Hemp has been used globally for thousands of years as a versatile and environmentally friendly plant. One hectare of hemp plant can absorb almost 15 tonnes of CO2, more than its equivalent size of trees! This makes it one of the most effective CO2 offsets. It works to restore soil health by fixing nitrogen in its leaves and its deep roots work to prevent soil erosion by acting as a binder. Hemp bio-remediates contaminated soil, improving structure and nutrient levels. Due to its dense canopy of shade leaves, hemp can be grown with no need for pesticides and requires no chemical fertilisers, further reducing soil toxicity. It also requires minimal water for growth, saving another of our precious natural resources.

We are committed to reducing our impact on the environment. We use glass bottles over plastic. Our packaging is 100% recyclable and our cardboard comes from FSC sustainable sources.

CBD products are combination of CBD extract and an oil like hemp, coconut, olive or palm oil. Palm oil plantations destroy the forests of Borneo and the habitats of endangered orangutans. We use coconut oil and promise to never, ever use palm oil.

Our products are cruelty free with zero animal testing and are suitable for vegans.
